Child and Family Psychotherapy Training
therAPP UK Ltd is now very pleased to announce that we are going to offer a professional child and family psychotherapy training.
This will be a four year training, where trainee clinicians will attend monthly workshops, their own therapy, and group clinical supervision.
You will be introduced to a wide range of theories and research to support your practice, and will learn how to both assess therapeutic need and deliver effective therapeutic work.
A range of clinicians will be contributing to the training throughout the course, alongside the key trainers. For those who already have psychotherapy trainings, there will be CPD routes to qualification. We are also keen to ensure that there is at least one scholarship place available.
Please register your details if you would like to be updated with developments on the course, and to find out when applications will be open. We look forward to meeting you!
*Please note: By submitting this form with your personal information you are granting therAPP UK Ltd permission to contact you in relation to the specified training course. We do not share your details with any third party.
About therAPP UK Ltd
At therAPP UK Ltd we offer a range of therapies and interventions for children, their families, and individuals. Our specialism is supporting effective recovery from trauma, whether that be historical trauma arising from attachment disruption or abuse, or from a single traumatic event such as loss or accident. The Director, Andrew Smith, is a leading voice in the therapeutic industry, lecturing and writing widely on the subject.
There is a dire shortage, especially in the North of England, of suitably qualified and experienced psychotherapists that are able to work effectively with this cohort of people. This kind of work requires a wide range of skills and experience, not just one or two models of practice. One size certainly does not fit all.
